| Unidentified gunmen open fire at MD of Bharatpur Medical College in Lazimpat --2010-03-02 | One day after media entreprenuer Arun Sinhaniya was shot dead in Janakpur, unidentified gunman has shot at Nagendra Pampati, Managing Director Bharatpur Medical College in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, Tuesday evening.
According to Pampati's driver Ram Rai, the assailants came on a motorcycle and the pillion rider opened fire at Pampati just as they were entering his residence behind Hotel Shangrila.
The firing took place near the spot where media entrepreneur Jamim Shah was shot dead about a month ago.
No one is hurt in the incident. Pampati's Range Rover car numbered Ba 6 Cha 9999 has been damaged. --------nn
